2026 Year of the Fire Horse: Chinese Zodiac, Leadership, Mythology & Healing with Letao Wang
Host Dian (Silver Disobedience) interviews professional astrologer and spiritual counselor Letao Wang about 2026 as the Lunar Year of the Fire Horse. Letao explains how the Chinese Zodiac works through a 12-year animal cycle combined with shifting heavenly-stem elements (fire, water, metal, wood, earth), contrasting Chinese astrology’s nature-based symbolism with Western astrology’s planet-centered approach. He compares 2025’s Wood Snake (reflection, shedding old patterns, completion) with 2026’s Fire Horse (movement, momentum, decisive action, and leadership), emphasizing that progress in the Horse year depends on integrating the Snake year’s lessons and avoiding reckless “speed.” The conversation also explores Letao’s background in myth-based astrology training, his view of mythology as a form of history and legacy, and Dian’s reflections on zodiac identity. Letao discusses resistance and healing in chart work, how he evolved from prediction-focused readings into therapeutic spiritual counseling by earning a counseling psychology master’s degree and certifications, and how he combines psychology with astrology, mythology, and tarot. He shares his work mix of private sessions (in-person and Zoom), writing, corporate workshops (including an event for Bloomberg in Hong Kong), and his publications: the 2024 Oracle of Domestic Heroes and the upcoming The Legends Heroes and Villains Oracle (releasing May 5).More here: https://www.thehealingkingdom.com/Please SUBSCRIBE!I’m Dian Griesel and in November of 2017 I began blogging as @SilverDisobedience on my website and @SilverDisobedience on Instagram Facebook and @DianGriesel X Career-wise, I am a perception analyst, counselor, hypnotherapist, author of 16 books and a Wilhelmina model.
